Summer Certified Staff

For past students, staff, or interns familiar with the LeaderTreks program, an exciting opportunity to join the LT team awaits! Summer Certified Staff (SCS) will lead summer mission or wilderness trips all over the world. SCS will be given training on how to build transformational relationships, rather than transactional relationships, and will heighten their leadership skills in an amazing environment.

If you have past experience and want to join the LT team, yet can’t commit to a full time job throughout the year, consider joining LT for a summer as a Summer Certified Staff. There is no cost to being SCS and all trip expenses are covered. As SCS, you will:

• Lead LT mission or wilderness trips alongside a fellow SCS
• Facilitate Team Time
• Teach valuable leadership components
• Develop lasting relationships with students
• Care for missionary partner through a meaningful relationship

Requirements for being a LT Summer Certified Staff:

• A heart for impacting students
• A passion for serving
• A love of adventure
• A desire to be challenged
• Commitment to attending two spring training sessions at LT in Chicago
• Commitment to spend 4- 10 weeks working as SCS (May 20-August 1)
